ARE YOU ON A DIET?

You hear it all the time.  Drink more water.  Drinking water really does help you to lose weight.  It can help in a variety of ways.  Water can actually boost your metabolism.  It can boost your energy levels and curb your hunger.  It can ease joint and muscle pain you may get when you exercise.

Just how much water do we need in order to lose weight?  One theory is to divide your weight in half.  If you weigh 200 pounds your body needs 100 ounces of water. 

As with anything, don’t go overboard.  Too much water (gallons and gallons) can cause an electrolyte imbalance.  People with kidney problems should see a doctor before adding water to their diet.
