This week, we have been discussing ways to lose weight without going on a diet. The one I want to talk about today is my favorite – Eating more often. Studies show that eating small meals or snacks, 5 to 6 times a day actually helps you to lose weight.
Eating more frequently revs your metabolism and keeps it working at an elevated level continuously throughout the day.
It also increases your energy and helps maintain a constant insulin level.
It is easier to pick a lean healthy snack when you are not starving to death.
You should plan ahead if you use this tip. Always eat breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and a small dinner. Be sure to include lots of protein, fresh fruit and vegetables and healthy fiber for optimum health.
